| Purpose: |
|
The
Blessed Sacrament Extended Care Program provides a quality
extended day that is based on the philosophy and goals
of the school. The program provides an on-site, safe environment
with responsible , caring adult supervision for children
while they complete their homework assignments and engage
in a variety of fun activities. Parents may use the service
on a drop in basis or monthly basis as desired. The drop
in fee is due at the time the student is picked up. The
monthly rate is due in advance of service.

| Staff: |
|
Qualified
staff members are carefully chosen. They are required
to have educational credits in childhood education and/or
experience working as a teachers's aide. Our staff are
also First Aid/CPR certified.

| Admission: |
|
All
students enrolled in Blessed Sacrament School are eligible
to participate in the program. A child who is absent from
school may not attend the Extended Care Program on that
day. Blessed Sacrament School does not discriminate on
the basis of race, color, and national and/or ethnic origin
in the administration of educational policies, scholarship
and loan programs, and athletic and other school administered
programs.

| Parents: |
|
It
is the parents' responsibility to be familiar with the
rules and regulations of the Extended Care Program. Emergency
information cards must be current at all times Students
will only be released to those adults whose names are
listed on their cards. All other requests for student
release to an alternative adult must be given in advance
in writing and dated.

|
| Students: |
|
Students
must observe all rules and regulations listed in the Blessed
Sacrament School Parent/Student Handbook while participating
in the Extended Care Program.
They must remain in a supervised area at all times and may
never leave the school grounds without being signed out
by the appropriate adult. Respect for all adults and children
on the premises is a requirement for continued use of the
program. |

| Snacks: |
|
Students
may bring their own snacks or purchase them from Extended
Care selections. Monthly extended care students may purchase
snack cards for $30 (40 snacks). Drop-in extended care
students may purchase a snack for 50¢. |

|
| Clothing: |
|
Students wear their school or
P.E. uniform. |
| |
|
|
| Registration
Fee: |
|
A
$50. per year per family registration fee is required
from families using extended care services on a monthly
basis.
Families
using the facility on a drop in basis are obligated to
pay the $50. registration fee when Extended Care is utilized
more than 4 times.

| Drop
In Rate: |

Student
left on the school yard before 7:30am and/or after 2:45pm
will be brought into the program and charged $5.00 per hour
or any part thereof. A $10.00 late charge will be added
to the drop in fee if payment is not made one week from
the day the child attended the Extended Care Program. |

who are not picked up promptly at 6:00pm will be charged
