Religious Education
"Education in the faith by the parents should begin in the child's earliest years... Family catechesis precedes, accompanies, and enriches other forms of instruction in the faith... The parish is the Eucharistic community and the heart of the liturgical life of Christian families; it is a privileged place for the catechesis of children and parents." (CCC 2226)
Catechesis of children is the responsibility of the parents. Our classes are merely to assist parents in passing on the faith to their children. It is assumed and expected that the parents are the primary educators of their children in regards to the faith.
September through June:
Elementary (Grades K - 6) Saturdays 9 - 10:15 am
Jr, High and HIgh School Tuesdays 7 - 8:30 pm
Children's RCIA Sunday 8 am Mass with class to follow 9:15 - 10:15 am
Espanol Religious Education Sundays 10:30 am - 12 noon
