First Holy Communion

We believe that bread and wine are transformed into the body and blood of Jesus at the Mass. This reality is called Eucharist.

Receiving Eucharist is an important part of the life of a Christian. Through it, Christ continually feeds His flock and cares for them.

Adopted at Baptism, Our Father feeds us on the Bread of Life.

First Holy Communion preparation is a two-year process. The normal time for children to begin is 7 years old. Children who need to receive their First Eucharist should contact the Religious Education Office (714) 897-2142.
